Based In South London (Mitcham)

£25k circa + Commission (negotiable for the right person) + Benefits + Bonus and Incentives

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm (Can be negotiated around the right person!) 

Progression – into operations, field sales and project work

My client, a manufacturing company is looking for a B2B product salesperson (not services) to join their team that is going through a fantastic growth period post pandemic and where they are seeing an exciting and buoyant market!  They have an established list of leads, warm data and have an in-house marketing executive to support you on campaigns and will provide your sales support structure for you to focus on really driving home new business!  

Job role:

  • Creating sales opportunities from prospecting calls and emails, collecting any inbound leads generating from marketing, and feeding back to them analytics on our CRM system.
  • Using sales lists on our CRM system to generate sales opportunities, logging progress and projects. Making outbound calls and emails to prospects to follow up on live and future projects.
  • Understanding the different roles our clients play in a project, their needs, project timeframes and the drivers that could turn the sales opportunity into an order.
  • Conveying summarised key findings from phone conversations to various internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Projects etc) to help refine further communications as well as liaising with the external team on a regular basis
  • Co-ordinating with the directors for any necessary site meeting, either as part of a joint client visit or individually.
  • Using autonomy to improve sales process and take ownership of the sales process over time

You will have:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to engage with perspective customers via telephone and email, including developing and maintaining relationships in key industries and sectors.
  • Previous sales or lighting experience preferred but not essential.
  • Can be adaptable to client and project requirements, as well as helping internal teams when required.
  • 12 months minimum B2B experience.
