545 - Senior BDM / Sales Manager / Sales Senior
HQ – Portsmouth but/ Home Working hybrid and Customer sites
Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

£40k - £50k basic + Commission and Benefits + Free Parking + Laptop and Mobile + Car Allowance + Benefits
This client, a leader in IT services including cloud, transformational services, consultancy, and digital transformation in private and public sector is looking for a Senior BDE to join them in their next stage of exciting growth!
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· This role is in the driving seat for sourcing, generating, and building new business for this client!
· This means you are responsible for identifying sales leads, sourcing new opportunities and potential clients.
· You will build on excellent communication skills and product knowledge to pitch to new and prospective clients.
· You will focus on the mid-market, UK based enterprise space, typically sized from 100 - 5,000 staff.
· You will need to be creative, with the ability to think outside the box, pro-active in pursuing new opportunities and strategic in your thinking and approach.
· Frequent liaison with your colleagues and internal stakeholders so commercial awareness is essential
· Identifying, qualifying, and speaking with business opportunities, producing pitches and presentations, and tracking your leads will be daily tasks.
· Building business relationships with clients, owning and over-achieving against your quota is essential.
· Personal attributes count just as much as experience for success in this exciting role within a close-knit team.
Essential Experience:
· At least 5 years’ experience developing and delivering new business wins
· Deep experience selling cloud services and/or managed services
· Proven commercial success
· The ability to work within a strong team ethos, yet succeed on a personal level
· A passion for the world of technology, business, and marketing
· Initiative with a proactive attitude to driving new business and strong negotiation skills
· The ability to speak publicly and interact with a diverse range of individuals and organisations, at all levels of business
Desirable Experience:
· A good understanding of the Microsoft Azure, MS365 and Security stacks
· Knowledge and experience in constructing multi-year services proposals
· A working knowledge of Compliance and Governance issues in the market
· Understanding of public sector procurement processes
