My client, an international software company with offices in UK and US are experiencing exceptional growth in key sectors including recruitment, estate agency and automotive.  As their business has grown, they are now looking for additional Business Development Managers to join them and the current successful team driving new business.

 

They have a robust marketing and sales function that is proven to work and supports the sales cycle and a very strong sales manager to train, develop and motivate.

  • You will be a resilient, organised and commercially sound business development manager who has a passion for hunting new business.
  • You will have a process driven and analytical mind when it comes to sales.
  • You will have a strong understanding of sales cycles and fearless when it comes to asking for new business and negotiating terms of contracts.
  • A great communicator with internal teams and external prospects and clients.
  • You will be comfortable self-generating appointments and demonstrating software solutions as a demo.
  • You will have proven experience in delivering and exceeding sales targets within previous b2b sales roles.

Day to Day Role:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including markets, clients, partnerships, and products/services.
  • Develop effective strategies to reach and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored solutions, online and in person.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients as needed.
  • Attend conferences and events to establish connections with industry partners and stay abreast of emerging trends
  • Pitch sales and products to new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to devise sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Produce monthly reports for management, tracking key performance indicators.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues when necessary.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets to contribute to overall business success.
  • Pursue leads and guide them through the sales cycle.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Research, plan, and implement initiatives to explore new target markets.
